Η τρίτη ομάδα ομιλητών ανακοινώνεται σήμερα, μαζί με τα ενδιαφέροντα θέματα που θα μας παρουσιάσουν. Μάθε ποιοι είναι, για τι ακριβώς θα μιλήσουν, ώστε να κάνεις τον προγραμματισμό σου επιλέγοντας τις ομιλίες που σε ενδιαφέρουν περισσότερο.
Τάκης Μπουγιούρης
Ο Τάκης είναι μηχανικός λογισμικού και lead web developer του web agency Nevma. Δημιουργεί μικρές και μεγάλες ιστοσελίδες και εφαρμογές διαδικτύου με το WordPress από το 2007. Είναι ενεργό μέλος της Ελληνικής, αλλά και της παγκόσμιας, Κοινότητας του WordPress, διοργανώνοντας meetups και WordCamps όπου σταθεί κι όπου βρεθεί. Του αρέσει το διάβασμα, η μουσική και ο κινηματογράφος, αλλά η αναζήτηση επίλυσης προβλημάτων και ειδικά στο performance είναι πλέον δεύτερη φύση του. Μετρώντας το frontend performance
Αν δε μπορείς να το μετρήσεις, δε μπορείς να το βελτιστοποιήσεις. Το αρχαίο ρητό λέει την αλήθεια! Σε αυτή την παρουσίαση θα προσπαθήσω να περιγράψω τις βασικές αρχές μέτρησης του front-end performance μιας ιστοσελίδας WordPress και τους τρόπους με τους οποίους μπορούμε να εντοπίσουμε τα προβληματικά σημεία που έχουν ανάγκη από βελτιστοποίηση. Θα δώσω και μερικά tips, κι ελπίζω να μάθω και μερικά νέα.
Φώτης Ρούτσης
Ο Φώτης Ρούτσης (aka mr.fotaras) σπούδασε Πληροφορική στο Οικονομικό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών και στη συνέχεια απέκτησε μεταπτυχιακό στην Πληροφορική Υγείας από το Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών. Από το 2007 εργάζεται ως freelancer ενώ αποτελεί ενεργό μέλος της Ελληνικής ΕΛ/ΛΑΚ κοινότητας.
Ασχολείται ενεργά με το Web Development και έχει αγκαλιάσει το WordPress ήδη από το 2008. Πιο πολύ από το ίδιο το WordPress αγαπάει και ασχολείται με την κοινότητά του έχοντας συμμετάσχει σε διοργανώσεις WordCamp της Ελλάδας και της Ευρώπης.
Κατά την περίοδο 2009-2012 αποτέλεσε μέλος της Ομάδας Ηλ. Διακυβέρνησης (OpenGov.gr) του Γραφείου του Πρωθυπουργού όπου είχε την ευκαιρία να συμμετάσχει στον σχεδιασμό και την υλοποίηση ποικίλων δράσεων μεταξύ των οποίων το πρόγραμμα Δι@ύγεια και η νομοθετική διαβούλευση.
Αν δεν είναι μπροστά από την οθόνη του λάπτοπ του μάλλον θα τον βρείτε υποβρύχια κάνοντας καταδύσεις (ναι κάνει και τέτοια!).
Custom Post Types, Post Meta, Custom Taxonomies : Η καρδιά του σύγχρονου WP
Η καρδιά των σύγχρονων υλοποιήσεων σε WordPress στηρίζεται στην βέλτιστη αξιοποίηση των Custom Post Types, Post Meta και Custom Taxonomies.
Σκοπός της παρουσίασης είναι να κάνει ένα σαφή διαχωρισμό ανάμεσα στα
τρία και μέσω εύκολων παραδειγμάτων να βοηθήσει τον χρήστη στην ορθή
επιλογή λύσεων που στηρίζονται στα άνωθι.
Αλέξανδρος Μέλης
Ο Αλέξανδρος Μέλης έχει γεννηθεί στην Ελλάδα, έχει αποκτήσει το πτυχίο του από το Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο στην Θεσσαλονίκη ως Μηχανολόγος Μηχανικός και το μεταπτυχιακό του από το Πανεπιστήμιο του Sheffield στο Marketing, στη Διαφήμιση και στις Δημόσιες Σχέσεις. Από μικρή ηλικία, ως λάτρης της μουσικής και της αστικής κουλτούρας που εκφράζει η Hip Hop, ασχολήθηκε με τις μουσικές εκδηλώσεις, αρχικά με το ρόλο του ακροατή και στη συνέχεια ακόμα πιο ενεργά αποτέλεσε ένα εκ των βασικότερων μελών δημιουργίας του THHF, του μακροβιότερου ελληνικού Hip Hop Festival και της κολεκτίβας Zoltan Tribe. Στην πορεία ασχολήθηκε με τις startups και την επιχειρηματικότητα, αφού έχει αδυναμία στο να ξεκινάει συνέχεια νέα projects με σκοπό να λύνει μικρά καθημερινά (ή και μεγαλύτερα) προβλήματα που τον απασχολούν. Αγαπάει την επιστήμη του μάρκετινγκ και τις τεχνολογίες γύρω από αυτήν, προσπαθώντας με αυτό τον τρόπο να μάθει περισσότερα για τον εαυτό του και τους ανθρώπους γύρω του.

Μαζί θα δούμε πώς μπορούμε να τεστάρουμε μια επιχειρηματική ιδέα, με τη βοήθεια του WordPress, πριν ξεκινήσουμε να γράφουμε κώδικα ή να ξοδεύουμε χρήματα στην υλοποίηση της.

Γεια σας, το όνομά μου είναι Fellyph Cintra. Είμαι Front-end developer. Στην πραγματικότητα, έχω την έδρα μου στην Ιρλανδία και δουλεύω στην Deloitte Digital. Η ιστορία μου με το WordPress ξεκίνησε το 2008, όταν δημιούργησα το πρώτο μου επαγγελματικό έργο. Από τότε συνέβησαν πολλά… Το 2012 παρακολούθησα το πρώτο μου WordCamp ως εθελοντής, 2 χρόνια μετά έγινα ένας από τους των διοργανωτές του WordCamp São Paulo. Έχω συμμετάσχει ως ομιλητής σε περισσότερα από 10 WordCamps στην Ευρώπη και τη Νότια Αμερική, καλύπτοντας πάντα το αγαπημένο μου θέμα, τις τεχνολογίες front-end.
Συμμετέχω πάντα στη στήριξη τοπικών κοινοτήτων προγραμματιστών επειδή πιστεύω ότι οι κοινότητες αποτελούν εργαλεία ενσωμάτωσης και κοινωνικής ανάπτυξης. Ως αναγνώριση αυτού, το 2019 έλαβα τον τίτλο του Google Developer Expert στις τεχνολογίες Web.
Using machine learning to improve our WordPress Application
Το Machine Learning είναι ένα από τα πιο μοδάτα πράγματα στον κόσμο της πληροφορικής, ένα πλήθος νέων υπηρεσιών εμφανίζονται κάθε στιγμή, μεγάλες εταιρείες έχουν αρχίσει να εφαρμόζουν/υλοποιούν διαφορετικά χαρακτηριστικά που χρησιμοποιούν το Machine Learning (ML). Αλλά…. πώς οι θνητοί προγραμματιστές και οι μικρομεσαίες επιχειρήσεις μπορούν να χρησιμοποιήσουν αποτελεσματικά το Machine Learning για να μάθουν να βελτιώνουν τις λύσεις τους;
Σε αυτή την ομιλία, πρόκειται να συζητήσουμε τις βασικές έννοιες γύρω από το MLand και τη χρήση βιβλιοθηκών υψηλού επιπέδου στο JavaScript για την υλοποίηση στην WordPress εφαρμογή μας , που περιγράφεται ως μια φιλική βιβλιοθήκη Machine Learning ml5.js θα είναι η πόρτα εισόδου μας στον κόσμο του Machine Learning.
Για να ολοκληρώσουμε το ταξίδι εισαγωγής, θα δούμε πώς μπορούμε να χρησιμοποιήσουμε ml5.js σε ένα πραγματικό έργο. Όπως ανέφερα προηγουμένως, το ml5.js είναι μια βιβλιοθήκη Javascript – η ομιλία επικεντρώνεται σε μια στοίβα front-end αλλά είναι ανοιχτή για ανθρώπους που θέλουν να μάθουν περισσότερα για τις βασικές έννοιες πίσω από το Machine Learning.

Measuring frontend performance
If you can’t measure it, you can’t optimise it. This ancient saying is right! In this talk I will present the fundamentals of measuring frontend performance in a WordPress web page and how to spot the problematic spots and thus search for means of optimisation. Ι will also give some useful tips and ideas on optimisation and I hope to learn some new ones, too.
Fotis Routsis
Fotis Routsis (aka mr.fotaras) is a Freelance Web Developer based in Athens, Greece.
He holds a BSc in Informatics from Athens University of Economic and Business and an MSc in Health Informatics. Since 2007 he works as a Freelance Web Developer and Consultant and has participated in various projects. He is member of the Greek FOSS community and he is actively involved in most of the community activities.
As a Web Developer he always tries to keep up with the new trends around the Web and the latest technologies around it. Although he is a backend web developer focused on code and algorithms he also gets in touch with front-end stuff making the web more beautiful!
From 2009 to 2012 he was part of the Open Government Initiative (OpenGov.gr) of the Greek Prime Minister’s Office and had the chance to get involved on large scale Open Government projects mainly focused on Transparency and Improvement of Public Administration. His passion on Open Data emerged via his activities as a member of the OpenGov.gr where he realized the need for Open Data and the potential they have.
When not coding or in front of his laptop he pretends to be an adventurous guy by scuba diving, spearfishing or in the winter snowboarding.

The purpose of the presentation is to make a clear distinction between the three and through easy examples to help the user in choosing the right solutions based on the above mentioned.
Alexandros Melis
Alexandros Melis was born in Greece, obtained his degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki as a Mechanical Engineer and his postgraduate degree from the University of Sheffield in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations. From an early age, as a fan of music and urban culture expressed by Hip Hop, he dealt with music events, initially as a listener and then became one of the most important members of the creation of THHF, the longest-running Greek Hip Hop Festival and the Zoltan Tribe Collective. Along the way, he has been involved with startups and entrepreneurship since he loves launching new projects in order to solve small daily (or even larger) problems that concern him. He loves the science of marketing and the technologies around it, trying to find out more about himself and the people around him.

Hello, my name is Fellyph Cintra I’m Front-end developer. Actually, I’m based in Ireland and work at Deloitte Digital, my story with WordPress started in 2008 when I created my first professional project since then much happened, in 2012 I attended my first WordCamp as a volunteer, 2 years later I became one of the organizers of WordCamp São Paulo. I have participated as a speaker in over 10 WordCamps in Europe and South America, always covering my favourite subject front-end technologies.
I’m always involved supporting local developer communities because I believe communities are tools of integration and social development. And 2019 I’ve received the title of Google Developer Expert on Web Technologies in recognition of it.
Using machine learning to improve our WordPress Application
Machine Learning is one of the most trendy things in IT world right now, a bunch of new services pop-up every single moment, large companies have started to implement different features that utilise Machine Learning(ML). But…. how mortal developers and small and medium business can effectively use machine learn to improve their solutions?
In this talk, we are going to discuss the basic concepts around ML and using high-level libraries in JavaScript to implement on ourWordPress Application, described as a friendly Machine Learning library ml5.js will be our entry door to the Machine Learning world.
To wrap up the introduction journey, we will see how we can use ml5.js in a real project. As I mentioned before ml5.js is a Javascript library – the talk is focused on a front-end stack but is open for people who want to learn more about the basic concepts behind machine learning.
