for the Main Event of WordCamp Thessaloniki 2019. And we keep our promises! Especially when they include a panel discussion and a very interesting topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The story behind the panel discussion in WordCamp Thessaloniki<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You may not know this, but panel discussions are not a regular section in a WordCamp. In our case, it was the best solution we came up with, after we had a last minute speaker cancellation in 2018&#8217;s WordCamp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eventually, last year&#8217;s panel discussion turned out to be one of the best moments of WordCamp Thessaloniki. That&#8217;s why we decided to repeat it this year too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What&#8217;s in it for me?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Speakers who participate in a panel discussion bring their own perspective when answering the questions by the coordinator and the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using facts, experience from their industry, their work and their daily lives, the experts selected to join the panel will share and use their fresh ideas, their experiences and free thinking in an fun and interesting way, through a dialogue, and reach a conclusion.<br>All this in an open and public discussion, which makes the experience even more interactive and fascinating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This year&#8217;s topic<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In a time where we see WordPress opening up various job opportunities, we thought of exploring the question: &#8220;What does all this mean for a professional today?&#8221;<br>So, the topic we&#8217;ll discuss in WordCamp Thessaloniki 2019 is about WordPress&#8217; expansion into the Greek labour market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>What are the job opportunities that WordPress has created in the Greek market?<\/li><li>How useful is it to know basic WordPress management?
